About Me

As an undergrad, I have broadcasted games for the Lynchburg Hornets Sports Network, announcing 60 events per year. When broadcasting, my responsibilities involve conducting pregame research, creating graphics, checking audio levels and bringing excitement for the fans at home. Our student broadcasters at Lynchburg have become primary broadcasters for the institution, and several games feature a fully student-operated broadcast.

 

Within the past two years, my experience as a former collegiate distance runner provided me the opportunity to serve as the media director for the nationally-ranked Lynchburg cross country & track teams. As the team's primary media contact, I now write articles, create weekly workout videos, and capture content at meets throughout the season.

Born and raised in Blue Ridge, Virginia, my journey as a broadcaster allows me to cover collegiate teams at the Division III level while remaining close to home. I enjoy running, writing poetry, and of course: sweet tea. In the summer of 2025, I will enter a broadcast internship with the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League, while returning to Lynchburg for the 2025-2026 school year as a senior.
